Troubleshooting eRemit in Windows Vista IE7

If you are using Windows Vista IE7, you may be experiencing a few problems accessing the eRemit.

Problem 1: User keeps getting redirected to CAS login page.
Problem 2: User is not able to close browser after logging out. Another window pops up when closing the current browser window.

Solution: Add the server url as a trusted site in your IE security by following these steps:

  1. In your IE7 menu, click Tools and choose Internet Options.
  2. Click the Security tab.
  3. Click Trusted sites (green check mark).
  4. Click the Sites button.
  5. Enter this url https://*.workflow.uconn.edu and click Add.
  6. Click Close and then OK.
